Trousers.
I made a grave error on Saturday.

Actually, the error probably predated Saturday, when I gradually procrastinated buying... trousers to this late time of year.

So, I thought, I'll get up nice and early on Saturday, get in before the Christmas-shopping rush, get the jeans, get out. No problem. Well, I woke up at half-past-ten. Not a good start. In order - 1) town was insane. 2) I had to go to four shops before I found acceptable jeans. Highlights include Burtons - only sell jeans with leg-bottoms so large one can conceal assault weaponry  - M&S - £32 for a pair of jeans (If I think it's too expensive and leave, this may be why you're losing money hand-over-fist..) Argh.

However, mission successful. And my sister doesn't understand why it takes me six months to get around to buying clothes.

Next year's problem - boots are wearing out.
